Deepika Padukone has taken a giant leap in her career as she has been finalized as the leading lady of the next installment of famous Hollywood franchise 'Fast And Furious'. Deepika will share the screen with Vin Deisel in 'Fast And Furious 7' to be produced by Universal Studios.
Apparently, Kangana Ranaut and Chitrangda Sen were also screen tested along with Deepika but Padukone managed to successfully bag the coveted role.
Deepika Padukone, who made her Hindi movie debut with blockbuster 'Om Shanti Om' in 2007, is at the peak of her career right now. Her last two movies, 'Chennai Express' and 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani', have broken all the records at the box office and are the highest and the 3rd highest grossers of Indian Cinema respectively.
Looking at the stature of her forthcoming releases combined with the huge success of last 4 movies, it would not be wrong to say that Deepika Padukone has captured the numero uno position and she is going to give every other actress a hard run for their money.
