Actor Emraan Hashmi's 4-year-old son Ayaan, has been reportedly diagnosed with cancer. According to reports, the tumour is said to be malignant, but is in its first stage.
The news was first broke by Emraan Hashmi's relative filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt to a leading daily. As per Bhatt, he received a call from Hashmi, who informed him that his "four-year-old son Ayan had been diagnosed with a tumour in his kidney that was found malignant". The filmmaker further said that it's curable, since the cancer got detected in its first stage.
"The bone marrow scan says it is clear, so it is first-stage cancer and thus curable," Mahesh Bhatt told the daily. Mahesh Bhatt, who later visited the Hashmi household, said that Emraan was heartbroken and inconsolable.
The actor, who is presently shooting for his forthcoming film 'Mr X', has requested his director and producer to cancel the shoot in South Africa in order to spend as much time as possible with his ailing son.
