Annapurna Studios, the producers “Manam” movie released a press note today saying that the Anti Video Piracy team team has been working Very Hard and has been able to Kill piracy like never before. Raids across several places in Andhra telangana and all over India have been carried out and several pirates are already in jail.
Sites that advertise that they have Manam are being watched! Task Force, Cyber Cell and Local Police are regularly monitoring IP addresses of the people trying to download Manam which is illegal under Copyright Act & IT Act, 2000. Enforcement teams have sent circulars to all district SPs to monitor and control Manam movie piracy. Enforcement teams are closely working with ISPs to identify the pirates. There is no way to escape even if you use a proxy server.
