Hrithik Roshan charges Rs 50 crore

With this amount the Bang Bang actor has become the highest paid actor in Bollywood

Hrithik Roshan has a lot to gloat about. Not only is his October release, Bang Bang, getting rave responses from the audience, his upcoming period drama with Ashutosh Gowariker, Mohenjo Daro has also given him a reason to celebrate already.

We hear reports that the actor is charging half a billion (50 crores) to star in the Gowariker’s production. With this amount he will become the highest paid actor in the Hindi film industry leaving behind bigwigs like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan!

When confronted about charging a whopping amount Jr Roshan said, “What I charge is my business. And would you be in a business which does not look like a profitable proposition? I’m justified.” So he neither agreed to nor denied the rumours…

Hrithik‘s fee is not the most exorbitant amount we have heard an actor ask for in the recent past. We heard rumours about Dharma Productions offering Salman Khan a sum of 150 crores for Shhuddhi and the same amount to Aamir Khan as well… Although Karan Johar rubbished the rumours, both AK and Salman were quite about the news.
