Actress Sridevi, has sent a Legal Notice to filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma believing that his new film ” Sri Devi ” has been titled on her name.
This film has already been in controversy as it was titled “Savithri” initially. Now, after renaming it to Sri Devi … this happened.
New Delhi: Controversies favourite child, filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma, is once again in news as the director has received a legal notice from actress Sridevi for using her name as the title of his upcoming Telugu film, without any prior consent. RGV's upcoming flick is based on a teenager, who is sexually attracted towards an older woman. The film, which is currently titled 'Sridevi', was earlier titled 'Savitri'.
In the legal notice send to RGV, he has been asked to change the name of the film and Sridevi and her husband Boney Kapoor have also demanded that RGV should not use the diva's name and publish an unconditional apology in the leading dailies too.
As per reports, before sending the legal notice, Boney tried to confront RGV for changing the film title, but he was apparently not in a mood to do so.
