Aditi Rao Hydari was born to Vidya Rameshwar Rao and Ahsan Hydari on 28 October in Hyderabad.She is the great granddaughter of Sir Akbar Hydari (prime minister to the nizam of hyderabad) and the grand niece of Sir Muhammad Saleh Akbar Hydari, former Governor of Assam. Her other grandfather is Raja Rameshwar Rao of Wanaparthy ( joined the Foreign Service and served in various capacities,including a posting as First Secretary, India's Commission in Nairobi; Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha 1957/1977; Member of the United Nations Conciliation Commission on the Congo, Chairman of Orient Blackswan (Indias leading publishing house).
Aditi is an Indian film actress,a trained classical Bharatanatyam dancer (under Leela Samson) and has recently proved her mettle by singing for herself in her last release.She made her acting debut in a double role with Sharada Ramanathan's National Award winning film Sringaram (2007). She also appeared in the Malayalam film Prajapathi (2006) in a leading role opposite superstar Mamooty.In 2009 she was part of the ensemble cast of Delhi-6, directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. Aditi rose to fame after her performance in Sudhir Mishra's film Yeh Saali Zindagi (2011) for which she got The Best Supporting Actress in a popular category at the Screen Awards (2012). She also played the parallel lead in Imtiaz Ali's Rockstar opposite Ranbir Kapoor which went on to become the most critically acclaimed film of 2011. Mostrecently she was seen as the female protagonist in her movie ondon, Paris, New York (2012) which was was widely appreciated by audiences and critics all around the world.Her forthcoming films are : the most successful franchise of Bhatt's Murder 3 where she will be seen opposite Randeep Hooda and Boss for Akshay Kumar's Production House and is already being anticipated by the media as well as her fans.
